Early History
Könberg and friends organized a nice outdoor rock consert for several bands in august 1999 called Freakrock´99. This was Texas Motherfuckers first gig. Right after that they recorded their first singles at Skyride Studios. The first vinyl was released in december 1999 (mfrs-001) and the second one  in august 2000 (mfrs-002). During this time they had several gigs in Sweden and Denmark. Time passed and several new hits were made. A new recording studio was found at their friends apartment. The studio was portable and later moved down to our practise-room. New recordings were made.

Two record labels showed their interest in their music and the third single was realesed 2001 by Zorch Productions in Örebro, Sweden. The fourth was released by Mansfield records in Lyon, France. We played all over Sweden during 2001. In spring of 2002 Henrik quit the band. Könberg picked up the guitar and a hard time rehearsing followed. The first gig as a four member band was in Berlin, Germany and the motherfuckers past the test. Late 2002 and early 2003 was a unproductive period as the bandmembers were tied up doing other stuff. In august 2003 the fifth vinyl was released as the start of a new beginning. Gigs were getting booked again and a split-EP with the dutch band “the Riots” were released by Tear It Up Records in december 2003.

The "various outtakes-CD" named Retaliation was released 2004. One week of european touring in march followed. 2005 included a Germany/Belgium Tour and later a UK-Tour. Great venues and a great time, thanks to all included. Texas Motherfuckers then started recording for their new record for upcoming releases.
